SwissLaw Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001, a network of Swiss lawyers with offices in Thailand and Switzerland. We are primarily specializing in general legal services with Thailand connection. Furthermore we are offering appropriate solutions for various legal problems .

Those responsible at SwissLaw Co., Ltd. are Swiss lawyers who have a long standing professional and Thailand experience with additional language and cultural knowledge. However, we are not admitted to the court in Thailand, therefore we are predominantly performing consulting work. Non-contentious matters will trustfully be handled by our experienced Thai employees.

Although operating in Thailand, we are feeling bound by the professional standards of Swiss lawyers. Independence, professional competence and the attorney-client privilege are, as a matter of course, guaranteed.

Albeit we are experienced Swiss lawyers, clients of other nationalities are naturally welcome. In each and every case we offer any client an uncomplicated contact and individual expert advice.

For Swiss citizens we offer consultation and perfect solutions for all possible social security, pension fund and withholding tax matters. In cooperation with a Thai notary we are entitled to issue life certificates, which are acknowledged by the Swiss social insurance carriers (AHV/IV/Suva/pension funds).

A diligent legal representation is based on clear and comprehensive information from our clients. The better the client is prepared, the faster and more effective we can render our consultation and forward guidance and assistance. An informal initial briefing can be hold prior to the consultation, to discuss necessary measures and to estimate the related costs. We explicitly reserve us the right to decline mandates, which are ethically or otherwise unacceptable for us. Our costs are based on the level of requirements of our activities and the economic relevance of the issue. For a Swiss lawyer working in Thailand we take the liberty of charging 6,000 to 9,000 THB per hour and 1,000 to 2,000 THB for a Thai paralegal. The cost approach of our Bern / Switzerland partner starts at 250 CHF per hour. We keep our structures deliberately simple and are waiving prestigious offices, glossy brochures and expensive advertising. Instead we focus on efficient work for the benefit of our clients.
